How we collect, use and protect the information you give the Lighthouse MC Studio store.
What we collect
The name, email, country/region and custom requirements you enter at checkout, plus your order contents and payment status. Card numbers and PayPal passwords are handled by PayPal; we never receive or store them. If you use the live chat, we keep your messages, the page you wrote from and the email you choose to leave.
How we use it
Only to process orders, send download details and order notifications, provide support and prevent fraud. We never sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
Payments are handled by PayPal, order emails are sent through Brevo, and the site runs on a cloud server in Seoul, South Korea. Each provider receives only what it needs for its job. When the live chat’s AI assistant is switched on, your messages are sent to the AI provider we use only so it can draft a reply, which is marked “AI assistant”. Alerts about new chat messages and orders reach our staff’s phones through the ntfy push service and contain only a short excerpt of the message, or the items and amount of the order.
Cookies
Only essential cookies for your language, currency, cart and login; the checkout page loads PayPal’s payment component. No advertising trackers or third-party analytics are used. The live chat keeps a conversation key in your browser so you can pick the conversation up again.
Retention
Order and payment records are kept for up to 5 years as e-commerce regulations require, then deleted. Other information is deleted once no longer needed. Live chat records are deleted one year after the last message.
Your rights
Email us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal information, except order records we are legally required to keep. We reply within 7 days.
